CONCEPT

Have you ever wished to connect in a deeper level with your body? Hear and see his needs and understand his real-time status?

Dot is a visualization experience, that aims to connect you with your body through real-time data visualization and opens up a new dimension of understanding your body.

WHY

We believe in the potential of Point Clouds to create unforgettable experiences for the user, and also that through a deeper understanding of the body's state, he/she will be able to take action and improve his/her health.

HOW

Using scanned geometry from our real world, we design the visual environment which is programmed to react to the real-time data input.

WHAT

Dot aims to create interactive representations of your body state, gathered through health tracking devices.

PROTOTYPES

We've been busy testing our concept, prototyping, and experimenting with VR and AR. Our prototype was a virtual reality experience with movement input to interact with the point cloud environment. Then we move to the AR universe, rendering the point cloud with ARKit 2 and Metal.

The next step in our development is to bring the point clouds to Magic Leap One and add the real-time data input.

TEAM

We are two interaction designers based in Zurich, with a background in design and computer science.

Our shared passion for technology, spatial computing, and immersion lead us to the Master of Arts in Design at the Zurich University of Arts, where we met, collaborate on different projects, and joined our forces to create «dot», the concept we want to bring to the Magicverse.
